Moon is now rationally detached and a high powered perceptive machine in Aquarius...we are thinking about feelings, debating and testing rather than immersing ourselves in them. This Aquarian Moon will heavily emphasize the Saturn side of today’s planetary aspects. Moon first squares Mars in Scorpio at 10:55 AM EST, calling us to examine our actions closely, then it squares Mercury in Scorpio at 11:08 AM EST, calling our motivations into question. Moon will conjunct Saturn in Aquarius at 11:15 AM EST, and this is a highly cerebral shutdown, a necessary pause where we are able to glimpse the true nature of Saturn’s lessons, if we put forth the EFFORT to do so. Saturn often speaks to us through obstacles and loss, if Saturn is tired of us not listening, change will be forced. This is our opportunity to shut up and listen. Moon will square Uranus in Taurus at 7:45 PM EST, and we may encounter surprising allies along the way, or unintended outcomes with which to contend.
Mercury conjunct Mars in Scorpio can explode today, though Saturn demands that we act with restraint. As such, any extremes will be magnified. This is an incredibly powerful conjunction with Mars in a sign that it rules in Traditional astrology. This conjunction can cause whatever has been simmering underneath the surface to boil over, and words may become weaponized, targeted for the deepest possible sting. Accidents are possible with sharp things or with vehicles, so please exercise caution, and pay attention to your surroundings today. Don’t undertake anything risky if under emotional duress. Both of these planets are squared in their conjunction by Saturn, who is all too ready and willing to dish out consequences in Aquarius. The exact timing of these aspects is outlined above, but it’s imperative that we don’t separate them in our understanding, as we are under all of them all day today. The times noted are when each aspect will be exact, and is like a peak of intensity, but it is by no means a culmination. These interrelated energies are at play all around us and within us today. We look to Moon in Aquarius as to which ones we may feel most intensely through the day as it guides us through this darkened tunnel. This is a strongly provocative dynamic with Saturn, and Saturn can only do so much to reign us in here. Saturn makes its demands, and what we encounter depends upon whether or not we harken unto it’s wisdom.
