Venus in Cancer at the Anaretic Degree June 26, 2021

Moon Enters Aquarius 10:09 AM EDT
We begin today with an intense Lunar opposition between Capricorn Moon at 29 degrees and Venus in the anaretic degree of Cancer. Relationship issues may be easily provoked during the morning, it isn’t time to try to solve them with Cancer Venus at a critical degree and Moon still Full and highly critical in Capricorn. This opposition makes things a battle. Wait to try to solve and address them until Moon moves into Aquarius at 10:09 AM EDT. Now that Moon will be waning in Aquarius, in a general sense of Lunar energy, we take all of the hard work we’ve done under Capricorn Full Moon that has called us to see what’s imperfect and how to fix it, and we start feeling out the future with Aquarian detachment. We had the opportunity to realign our goals with our needs, and now it’s time to ensure that our goals also benefit the collective as we attack them with renewed vigor. Aquarius energy is prominent this year with Saturn here with Jupiter also dipping back and forth in this sign of ingenuity, where it’s time for open minded solutions that think outside the box. It’s difficult to detach from deep personal feelings, as Aquarius is inclined to do, during Cancer Sun that can make our own needs quite apparent. Once Moon moves into Aquarius today, we are able to focus on social connection and things that affect the greater good, and the deep Waters we’ve been in will lighten up just a little bit.
Venus is at the critical final degree of Cancer today, the full expression of Venus in Cancer, sign of home and the strongest intuition of the Zodiac. Venus is our planet of love and resources, and Cancer is the nurturer…the side of us that needs to care for others. Venus will prowl into Leo just after midnight, but for now, all things relationship are Cancerian INTENSE. We are deeply attuned to the energy of others, Cancer Sun strengthens our empathy, and Venus in Cancer adds to the weight of our feelings. With Moon in opposition early in the day, Venus in Cancer will be a sore and sensitive spot throughout this final degree, where we may need to confront painful truths in regard to relationships. If they arise, it’s this 29th degree calling us to feel them, and to resolve and nurture them. Cancer is ruled by the Moon, and Moon is still very much full in the sky, so once it moves into Aquarius, though we may feel more pragmatic, these deep, dark relationship issues will continue to be rising to the surface. Today is an opportunity to resolve hurt feelings within relationships with the one thing Cancer energy needs most…connection. Aquarius Moon may make it easier for us to detach from our own emotion and see the other side of the relationship. Once Venus moves into lovely Leo tonight after midnight, the dynamic will shift to a different balance, which I will talk about later this evening as I post about Venus in Leo in glorious detail. For now, know that the deep well of relationship issues that we are traversing is a culmination of Venus’ transit through Cancer, calling us to feel our way through the places we feel most disconnected, and we seek to reconnect before it feels too late.
