Moon is now in Gemini, where we need intellectual stimulation and emotion is an analytical rollercoaster of exploration. Today may provoke anxiety under Gemini Moon’s relentless curiosity, it’s fast pace and constant influx of change is difficult to process with Sun changing signs. Moon will make a tense quincunx to Sun in Scorpio at 4:14 AM EDT, making early morning feel confusing and anxious. Things will calm down for evening when Moon trines Saturn in Aquarius at 6:12 PM, temporarily grounding the cerebral energy of Gemini Moon into reality. Moon will sextile Chiron in Aries at 11:46 PM EDT, and it’s time to analyze the impact of recent stress and trauma on our mental health. It’s time to talk it out under Gemini Moon, which requires verbal expression.
Sun is now in secretive, highly perceptive Scorpio, where depth and passion are requirements as we journey into the Underworld. It’s time to purge, and to let go of that which no longer serves us, and the deep, dark, emotional Water of Scorpio can be tumultuous if we resist. This is the time of year when the veil between the living and the dead is thinnest, when spiritual transformation is calling. Nothing is to be taken lightly during this time. We are coming off of 4 planetary Station events during Libra Sun, all of which had an impact upon relationships, so this Scorpio Season may see a need for withdrawal and healing after such a heavy period of external circumstances spinning us about and realigning. Mars, the traditional ruler of Scorpio, will join Sun in Scorpio on October 30, and Mercury will follow into the lair of the Scorpion on November 5. The Scorpio New Moon falls upon November 4, and it comes with the opposition of Sun and Moon in Scorpio to Uranus in Taurus, so keep in mind that this month’s New Moon will be another incredibly intense and overwhelming energy to traverse. We are truly being called to plunge to depths uncharted this year, capping it off with a Lunar Eclipse on the Taurus Full Moon at 27 degrees on November 19. This Scorpio Season will be all about sudden revelations and confronting our demons. This dark night of the soul may not be quite as intense in regard to external circumstances as what we’ve just come through, but it’s deep dive will certainly highlight dramatic shifts in our inner perspective. Of course, this is a Fixed sign, so the Fixed signs will be the post powerfully affected by these soul level energies at play…this means YOU, Scorpio, Aquarius, Taurus, and Leo. It’s time to contemplate death, transformation, and rebirth.
