Moon is now in Aries, where it will wax to Full on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning at 27 degrees. This is a wildly assertive and dominant Moon that can easily provoke aggression…obstacles? Time to run over them with willpower. We are coming out of this highly contentious Libra season full of Retro and planetary Station activity, so this Aries Moon will feel like a powerful push forward. This is a “take action and ask questions later” Moon, and thank goodness it will sextile Saturn in Aquarius at 7:15 PM tonight, so that hopefully we can show a modicum of restraint somewhere. Saturn will encourage us to use our brains here, and we could use the reminder. Aries Moon is impulsive and excited, ready to take over the world…but under the other cosmic energies at hand, we need to maintain self-control or we risk complicating things dramatically.
We are under not just one, but TWO Stationary planets today, at a pause and standstill to reflect upon where they have brought us during these Retrogrades. I cannot emphasize enough here that Station does not mean recklessly GO FORWARD, nor does it mean that things are magically just better. This is not time to push, this is time to stand still and allow the changes we’ve been through to catch up with us while it appears these planets are not moving.
Jupiter is now Direct, which occurred overnight. It first Stationed Retrograde on June 20 at 2 Pisces, under the Summer Solstice. The degree to which it has walked back is the same degree that it passed on March 27. Events that occurred during those times may be activated for a final resolution now and in the next few weeks. Jupiter influences the big picture and our spiritual connection to it, as well as excess and luck. Don’t go off the deep end immersing yourself in anything right now, Jupiter Station can inspire new ideas and directions, but here in Aquarius, it requires us to use our higher mind and operate on a level of growth. Jupiter is, at it’s core, growth and abundance wherever it’s focused for us. Jupiter will be in Aquarius until just before we hit 2022, when it will ingress to Pisces and stay there, taking us on a spiritual journey. From now until then, the journey is one of mental capability and connection. Aquarius is ever the rebel, and this energy upon Station may see us suddenly rebel against people or ideals that are no longer serving our highest good. Beliefs may be challenged, and Jupiter in Aquarius asks us to let them be…don’t fight it, learn from it and walk away all the wiser. Mars in Libra makes a trine to Jupiter Station tonight at 10:36 PM EDT, and this is a powerful impetus for change…whatever is brewing in our minds has plenty of potential to develop, with Libra Mars consideration and weighing the balance of pros and cons. We seek egalitarian solutions that satisfy all sides involved, exercising the higher mind and detached, rational thought.
Mercury is also at Station Direct today at 11:17 AM EDT, in Libra, where it’s been wreaking relationship havoc. It’s time to pay the piper for anything we’ve been ignoring or have been passive about, it will now catch up and remind us that even though Libra can be indecisive, we can’t just let things go and not deal with them. Miscommunications that we weren’t aware of may come to light under this Station, and it may take until the end of the week to sort things out, so patience is still required. Mercury Retro often requires us to withdraw and reconsider, and today may bring realizations that are important to how we move forward from here. Relationships of all types have been challenged, and it will take Libra diplomacy and tact to sort it out, if we choose to do so. Thoughts may be racing today, and we may feel compelled toward where we mentall connect…this Retrograde was all about breaking down barriers to relationships, and identifying patterns that need to change. Do you need stronger boundaries around you, or do you need to let the walls come down? Do you need to be more assertive, or do you need to hold your tongue and allow people to go their own way (far away)? Mercury Retro entailed Pluto Station at the New Moon, so part of this Retro process is deciding to move forward after leaving behind old structures and seeing the lesson in power struggles and control dynamics. We experienced Saturn Station as well, guiding us toward new structure and growth, if we listen. This Mercury Retro has been a pattern of upheaval, PAUSE, upheaval, PAUSE and today we feel both upheaval AND pause is required as we rush toward a powerful Aries Full Moon on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. Aries nearly Full Moon makes it difficult to pause as we need to today, and will oppose Mercury Station after midnight tonight. This can get overwhelming. Be cautious using machinery and behind the wheel today, be careful around Fire, and don’t bite off more than you can chew with people who are known to be aggressive or violent. If you have a tongue lashing coming, it may, indeed, occur today.
