Scorpio Moon, first quarter
Mars conjunct Sun in Libra 12:01 AM EDT
Today may be challenging on an emotional level under Scorpio Moon’s demand for introspection upon that which we normally hide. Moon will make an opposition to Uranus in Taurus at 9:00 AM, triggering instability and hitting insecurities, presenting an opportunity for uncomfortable realizations. Moon will trine Neptune in Pisces at 8:53 PM EDT, offering a powerful burst of intuition that we can harness as we traverse the emotional underworld. Moon will square Jupiter Retro in Aquarius at 11:04 PM EDT, shedding a different light on groups and our humanitarian inclinations. This passionate Scorpio Moon is here to provoke in the wake of Pluto Station, and will sextile Pluto in Capricorn overnight, emotion will hit hard, and this may feel like a second wave of emotion surrounding whatever the New Moon brought you. Themes of power and control run incredibly strong here. Where did you have any sort of disturbance, and where did you seek to connect on a mental level?
Mars and Sun in Libra reached the exactitude of their conjunction around midnight EDT, but we are under the powerful motivation and drive of this aspect all day. Libra Mars is typically cautious, and hesitant to make too many waves, but today we will see outspoken resistance to anything that causes imbalance, or disharmony. This is a perpetual balancing act, a dance in which we continually respond to the needs of others given that Libra is the sign of relationship. Sun in this conjunction offers stark illumination about the imbalances we are engaged in, and there may be signs today as to how to resolve them. This conjunction is full of potential, it’s time to decide where we have been indecisive, to go forward and initiate! The fear and hesitation is burned off by Sun’s confidence and well planned approach. We are all just doing the best we can under the tense and uncertain heavy aspects of this year, and this conjunction reminds us that we’re still here, no time to wait any longer.
Tomorrow, we will be under multiple powerful aspects, and there is a sense of anticipation as these energies align. Mercury Retrograde in Libra will make it’s conjunction to the Sun, which is the peak of the Retrograde, Mars will also be conjunct Mercury Retrograde just 6 hours later, and we have outer planets Eris and Pluto making their final square in a long series of 5 exact squares that began with Saturn conjunct Pluto at the beginning of the pandemic. I will detail these tomorrow…it’s a lot, and we feel it all underlying today; the feeling is that something is brewing, and Pluto still being so close to Station makes this final, culminating square positively pivotal. For today, if your anxiety is up, this would be why. We also have dwarf planet Ceres, which is all about how we nurture and our need to be nurtured, Stationing Retrograde tomorrow as well. What a week this has been, and tomorrow is just as intense as the rest of it.
