Aquarius Moon 3rd quarter
Today’s waxing Aquarius Moon will be a breath of fresh air under this Libra Sun that has been far more intense than Libra is comfortable being. We have no major planetary aspects to deal with today, and most of the lunar aspects that Moon will engage in are positive and supportive. We’ve badly needed a day like this! Moon made a conjunction to Saturn overnight, and morning feels relatively grounded and decisive. Moon danced with Venus in Sagittarius in a sextile at 6:03 AM EDT, and both signs are independent and need freedom. Aquarius needs freedom to be an individual, and Venus in Sagittarius needs freedom within the context of relationship with others, and these two strike a balance of unique expression and healthy assertion today. Moon will sextile Chiron in Aries at 10:42 AM EDT, and this is our opportunity to mentally analyze any recent hurt, and see it in the context of greater patterns that we are trying to heal through. Moon will trine Mercury Retrograde in Libra at 1:09 PM EDT, and miscommunication or technology difficulties may arise…at this part of the Retro, we’re getting used to that by now! The only truly tense lunar aspect we have today is a square between rational Aquarius Moon and Uranus in Taurus, at 4:52 PM EDT. This one may throw us for a loop, and feel a bit unstable. If anything throws a wrench in your plans, Taurus stubborn won’t work, we need to be flexible, and think outside the box to work around it.
Energy is building as Sun and Jupiter move closer to a trine that will be exact tomorrow, and this one feels like a win, finally! This is a light at the end of the tunnel aspect during this otherwise heavy time, Libra Sun is seeking compromise, and Jupiter in Aquarius steps in here with new ideas, and interesting ways of seeing issues. Moon will also be in Aquarius for this aspect, so we can expect Jupiter to come with epiphanies and a feeling of strange clarity. Aquarius energy embraces the weird, and it’s time to try new things. This aspect highlights our need for social connection, and is here to help us connect with our tribe. It’s still Mercury Retro, so be cautious with new people, but overall, this is an excellent time to reconnect with old friends, and to seek out others with a different perspective to create balance under Libra Sun. We can be uniquely open minded during this time, but remember…Aquarius is rational, and emotionally detached. These connections are mentally inspired, rather than emotionally deep.
Mercury Retrograde and Jupiter are BOTH preparing to Station Direct on Monday, so we will be entering the standstill again, on both accounts. I will talk more about this as we get closer, but for now, know that if things are feeling crucial or like they are at a tipping point, that’s why.
