Pisces Moon, 2nd quarter
Sun in Scorpio trine Neptune in Pisces 11:24 AM EST
Mars in Scorpio quincunx Chiron in Aries 6:19 PM EST
We are now under a Pisces Moon, waxing toward a Lunar Eclipse one week from today. The intensity is beginning to crescendo, and will continue to do so. Pisces Moon is an emotional exploration in receptivity…we feel everything around us, and my have trouble discerning what is ours and what is the ebb and flow of others. Compassion runs high during Pisces Moon, and feelings are easily wounded. Moon will make a sextile to Venus in Capricorn at 3:18 PM EDT, softening the business-like edge that relationships have had lately, and distracting us from goals and plans with feelings. Moon will trine Mars in Scorpio at 7:28 PM EDT, deepening our need for true intimate connection, not on a bodily level, but on a soul level. What lacks depth will be ignored. Pisces Moon is the final sign of the Zodiac, and we have heavy emotion swirling after this week’s powerful aspects. There may be a lot to feel out as we traverse this lunar sign.
Sun in Scorpio burns the haze off of Neptune in Pisces as these two trine today at 11:24 AM EST; this powerful amplification of intuition can be quite a rush. This is an aspect of deep healing, and an opportunity to reflect upon any recent changes in order to see the spiritual reasons for them. This aspect can incite manipulative behavior in those already prone to manipulation, but we see through it. Deception is also short-lived under this aspect. Pay attention to your gut today, in all dealings with other people. Anything that feels strange or just off is telling you something important. We feel what is underlying and really going on under this trine.
Mars in Scorpio will make a quincunx aspect to Chiron in Aries at 6:19 PM EDT. Quincunxes are tricky aspects, tension that isn’t easily resolved. They provoke and inspire necessary conflict, but the aspect is fleeting. Mars is powerful in Scorpio, not letting us hide from our own role in where we are, and Chiron represents wounds that we must heal. In Aries, these wounds affect our sense of self. Mars is our energy to exert, our drive…this aspect may make us tired, emotionally worn out. This may feel like one more incident in a series of troubles, or the proverbial “icing on the cake” to an ongoing situation that dredges up the past. Scorpio encourages reflection here, and Mars waits until it has the right timing, whether we’re talking taking control, or revenge. Either is an equally likely path to be inspired by this aspect. Given this dynamic under an emotional Pisces Moon, if you feel triggered by this aspect, it can get out of control quite quickly, fleeting though it may be.
