Libra Moon, 4th quarter
Mercury in Libra square Pluto in Capricorn 5:39 AM EDT
Moon is in Libra, where we seek balance and harmony. Libra is the sign of relationship, so what we feel now is experienced through the lens of relating to others. We just experienced an intense Mercury Retrograde in this sign, and Moon passing through again may trigger recent communication issues once again. Moon will trine Saturn in Aquarius at 7:31 AM EDT, an excellent aspect for planning toward future endeavors, with Saturn’s discipline here we can compromise and navigate with diplomacy. Moon will oppose Chiron in Aries at 11:01 AM EDT, which can see people operating from old wounds instead of current circumstances. Moon will quincunx Uranus in Taurus at 4:50 PM EDT, an unstable push/pull dynamic that leaves us tentative and hesitant to proceed if Uranus throws anything unexpected our way. Moon is waning down to New on Thursday, and tonight and tomorrow we enter Dark Moon territory. Dark Moon always calls us to let go of that which we’ve outgrown, and here in Libra, that entails relationships and connections to other people. Stop being the one to approach others, and see just how reciprocal relationships truly are.
Mercury in Libra is square Pluto in Capricorn today. The aspect was exact at 5:39 AM EDT, but will be with us all day. Mercury squared Pluto before and during the Retrograde, so this is the third tense square between the two, and it hopefully brings resolution to whatever these two brought around for you before. The first square was in Direct motion on September 22, the Autumnal Equinox, and then they squared again with Mercury in Retrograde motion on October 1. Pluto is a profound energy of transformation, and in Capricorn, it seeks to tear down the structures that underlie and support us, the things we rely upon. Mercury is the planet that influences communication and thought processes. Mercury in Libra can become quite non-confrontational here and go into an option paralysis if there are no easy solutions, and Pluto here demands depth, nothing is ever easy under Pluto’s dark guidance. Issues of control may arise thanks to Pluto, and in Capricorn, the expectations are rigid and extreme. There is no room for error, and no room to deviate…we must stay the course. Mercury in Libra will seek to negotiate, and Pluto in Capricorn sees that as weakness to consume. Look to the issues that arose for you the first time these two engaged on September 22 and October 1, and remember that we are now under Scorpio Sun, where Pluto dominates the situation.
