Capricorn Moon, 1st quarter
Moon is in Capricorn all day today, industrious and focused. There was a lunar conjunction to Venus overnight, and we feel it resonating this morning…this aspect attracts what we truly need to succeed, and allows us to look at things critically. Today is the perfect day for changes in routine that provide structure and consistency. Moon sextiled Mars in Scorpio at 5:49 AM EST, and the subconscious drives us to make strong choices this morning. Moon will square Chiron in Aries at 11:05 AM EST, and impulsivity can get in the way if we don’t stick to plans. Moon will trine Uranus in Taurus at 4:48 PM EST, calling our attention to possibilities we may not have yet considered. Moon trine Uranus can bring an awakening, and in these Earth signs, show us the path to stability and change that leads to a more well-rounded routine. Moon will sextile Scorpio Sun just after Midnight, a powerful opportunity for self-reflection. How far we’ve come, and how far we have yet to go!
The building tension of Mercury and Mars conjunct in Scorpio square Saturn in Aquarius, exact on Wednesday, is a buzzing crescendo that will continue to become more pervasive. Things cannot remain as they are, it’s that simple. Mercury and Mars are poised to strike out, planning power moves and to take control, and Saturn in Aquarius won’t allow for anything that isn’t in our highest good. These heavy energies are encouraging us to harken unto Saturn under this Capricorn Moon…don’t forget, Saturn rules both Capricorn and Aquarius, Traditionally speaking. Uranus, Modern ruler of Aquarius, is also in loose opposition to Mercury and Mars, complicating this dynamic with unpredictable spins and sudden quicksand. Our methods may be questionable and manipulative this week, but the ultimate goal must be aligned with our principles. This is very much an aspect that feels like the end justifies the means. Wherever we’re struggling with necessary change will be provoked and asserted by Saturn here, with limitations and rules to which to adhere.
