Lunar Yod between Cancer Moon, Venus in Sagittarius, and Jupiter in Aquarius
Juno in Sagittarius trine Eris in Aries 6:36 PM EDT
Cancer Moon is highly empathic today, we are deeply impacted by the energies around us, absorbing, feeling, and projecting. Moon will trine Neptune in Pisces at 10:48 AM EDT, a gentle and healing dreamscape of emotional tides with which we must ebb and flow. Morning will be powerfully intuitive, so pay attention to subtle signs, and meditate. Moon will then step into a Yod configuration, where it will make two quincunx aspects to planets that are sextile one another. In this case, we see Venus, planet of love and money, moving into a sextile to Jupiter in Aquarius that will be exact tomorrow, and today’s Lunar Yod is enough to snap us out of fantasy and get moving toward relationship reality. Moon will first quincunx Venus at 12:04 PM EDT, followed by Jupiter at 2:16 PM, so the height of the yod will occur at 1:08 PM as Moon reaches the apex between them. This Yod triggers a powerful change in relationship dynamic, taking all of our past emotional chaos that we’ve recently endured, and pointing the way through, to where we can try to come out of it with a stronger sense of independence and vision for the future. Venus in Sagittarius is open to new ideas, and Jupiter in Aquarius has plenty to offer, if only we can take the first step. This is a powerfully visionary Yod, triggered by Moon in it’s home sign, an emotional check point where we have the opportunity to catch up with NOW. This configuration reminds us that as we have evolved and grown, as we reinvent ourselves, we must also then redefine relationship roles and our perception and concept of relationships if we are going to stay connected to others. After the Yod, Moon will clash with Pluto in Capricorn in an opposition that reminds us that all of these lofty ideals need to be backed with real world effort and evidence, lest they disappear into the ether. Pluto isn’t kind in Capricorn, and this reality check may feel harsh. Moon will go on to square Mars at the end of Libra overnight, anything that arises as an issue under the Pluto opposition may blow up further under the Mars square, so try to mitigate issues as they arise, don’t let them explode later.
In even further energy that influences partnership today, we have an unpredictable trine between Juno, the asteroid of marriage and partnership, and Eris, dwarf planet of delicious disruption. Eris enjoys her role as disruptor, this is an energy that challenges and thrives in competitive battles…we win with manipulation here. Can Juno trine Eris be devious and conspiratory? Yes…and this is an excellent energy with Juno in Sagittarius to think about the higher good of our connections, the reason behind everything, the purpose. How can we shake things up and keep them interesting? Eris explodes when restrained, and causes problems…but when Eris is allowed to be expressed, to rebel and go our own way, we have a way of influencing things to end up at a stronger, better place even if it makes us temporarily uncomfortable. This is a rather interesting trine to be under after today’s Lunar Yod brings relationship realizations, and Juno with Eris here can be a trigger for sudden relationship changes. How the dynamic spins depends upon our ability to be flexible and harness this Mutable Juno to adapt.
