Venus in Sagittarius sextile Jupiter in Aquarius 3:15 PM EDT
Moon is now in Leo, where we need creative expression and independence. This will cause tension under a square to Scorpio Sun at 4:05 PM EDT, when Scorpio and Leo are energies that both seek autonomy and control. Leo Moon is loud and proud about emotion, whereas Scorpio Sun prefers to reveal less of the intensity we are feeling than Leo Moon would be inclined to restrain. This square will be calling us out for any twisted motivations, and confronting uncomfortable, underlying emotional tension. Leo Moon may become explosive in the face of obstacles, so be aware that the potential for drama is high today. It may be time to ask, is this necessary? Moon will make an opposition to Saturn in Aquarius at 7:03 PM EDT, and ti’s time to check your ego at the door. Saturn here is trying to show the path forward, but sometimes we insist upon getting in our own way. Moon will trine Chiron in Aries at 11:42 PM EDT, an aspect that may help to resolve feelings of insecurity over past issues, if we choose to be conscious of our own motivations.
Venus is in lively Sagittarius seeking adventure and new horizons, and gets a big green light today in a sextile to Jupiter in Aquarius at 3:15 PM EDT. Jupiter is still sitting at the 22nd degree where it Stationed Direct on the 18th, so we are still playing out crucial themes in regard to group dynamics and future plans. Venus here seeks to discern whether we are accompanied by the right people and whether we have the resources to proceed, and if that isn’t the case, is ready to aim high and find a way to go forth regardless. This is a lovely energy to test relationship waters without too much pressure, the rational Jupiter influence here keeps the Sagittarius enthusiasm a little more grounded as Venus wants to escape to destinations undefined. Jupiter will call for us to at least hint at a plan, which helps Venus in Sagittarius to remember that there are consequences beyond the moment. This is an excellent opportunity to examine whether we are spiritually aligned with those around us, and how we can ensure that the needs of all are met. Jupiter sitting on it’s degree of Station reminds us not to repeat past lessons with different faces and new names, so watch for old patterns in the people you’re getting close to, and avoid the same mistakes. Jupiter magnifies all that it touches, and here it’s pointing toward fresh and different relationship energies to explore.
