Virgo Moon, 3rd quarter

Moon remains in perfectionistic Virgo today, pushing us to make headway in all the details. This practical energy reminds us to care for others, and that we need to not just say it, but SHOW it as well. Virgo energy can get easily burned out in worry and anxiety about things that can’t be made better, so try to remember to consider some down time in today’s meticulously planned schedule. Moon made a trine to Uranus, which still has one more day at degree of Station in Taurus, at 5:28 AM EST, and we may come across new solutions to old problems in the morning hours. Anything that can be refined or made more efficient is on the agenda today. Moon will make a trine to Venus Retrograde in Capricorn at 10:53 AM EST, emphasizing the values that we are reconsidering in regard to relationships and resources under this cold and calculating Retrograde. Remember that boundaries are important today, and don’t allow others to drain you. Virgo energy tends to be consumed in relationships that lack reciprocation, because of that natural caretaking instinct. It’s powerful, and in this trine to Venus Retro, we are reminded that relationships must be a give and take, a balance. Relationship imbalances can be worked through under this positive and supportive trine. Moon will make a quincunx to Saturn in Aquarius at 11:54 AM EST, and this is our checkpoint to assess how much real world progress has been made with recent effort put forth. Saturn in Aquarius is future focused, and asking us to get real about possibilities while Virgo Moon may be anxious that we haven’t accomplished enough just yet. Saturn would remind us here that change and evolution doesn’t happen overnight, and that sustained, consistent effort wins out over short, exhausting bursts of the grindstone.

The Nodal shift is beginning to become more apparent as days move forward. The North Node in Taurus and South Node in Scorpio now guide the collective direction along an axis of resources and relationship, where we accumulate in Taurus, and release in Scorpio.
This is a possessive axis, where we want what is ours for the taking, and will dig in our heels with Fixed tenacity toward that end. We are beholden to our senses and the experience of the body with the North Node in Taurus, and this is the perfect time to give more care and concern for the needs of the body in every regard, from nutrition and movement to rest and recovery. The North Node in Taurus guides us to move toward a greater sense of stability and consistency that supports and nurtures. In order to do this to the fullest, however, we must release that which comes along the South Node, and in this case, that entails the deep, dark lessons of Scorpio where suspicion and mind games prevail. Scorpio energy invariably stings, and releasing the wounds of the past experience in this South Node is necessary if we want to harness the growth and fertility we can encounter in the North Node. Old patterns will beckon strongly, however, with this Scorpio energy whispering in our ears from the South Node for the next year and a half. It’s important to remember during this Nodal transit that what has been done in the dark of Scorpionic influence will now come to light, so that Taurus energy may seek to ground it, forgive, and heal, rooted firmly in Fixed Earth.
