Moon enters Sagittarius 2:34 AM EST
Moon has now frolicked into Sagittarius, where we need a break from the heavy intensity we’ve experienced lately. Sagittarius Moon is notoriously bright siding, with optimism that guides us toward higher levels of understanding. This is a Moon that innately sees big picture, no need for the fussy details here. We can see promises and possibilities under Sagittarius Moon, and there is no need to wait, we impulsively take action! Moon will square Jupiter in Pisces at 1:02 PM EST, and Sagittarius Moon philosophy may be colored by Jupiter in Pisces lofty idealism making things foggy and hard to see clearly. This uncertain haze will be burned off as Sagittarius Moon makes a sextile to Aquarius Sun at 3:47 PM EST, where Aquarius’ high powered intellect fuels Sagittarius Moon’s insatiable need for knowledge and understanding. This is an excellent aspect to take a different spin on things, and particularly to debate any internal issues with a detached and well rounded perspective. Aquarius Sun gives Sagittarius Moon just the right balance of realism to make things happen in a tangible and demonstrable manner. Moon will trine Chiron in Aries at 5:50 PM EST, and it’s time to move past old wounds with seeing the positives that have been conjured, that would not have otherwise been had we not gone through suffering. Chiron in Aries makes everything a competition, so it’s important that we don’t get all MY trauma is worse than YOUR trauma under this aspect, this is a personal one that needs to be reflective, not aggressive…Fire tends to lash out. Moon will finish out today’s aspects with a quincunx to Uranus in Taurus at 8:43 PM EST, and we may get rebellious, sudden change of scene may feel compelling as Sagittarius Moon has escapist tendencies and Uranus is a planet of rebellion and going one’s own way. The Archer always aims high, and is not obsessed with being right, so sometimes walking away for a bit is the best option.
Tomorrow we have Mercury Retrograde making a conjunction to Pluto, repeating and dredging up issues that arose on or close to December 29. Things unresolved then demand attention now, and remember…Mercury has now stepped back into Capricorn, so it’s assertion is more demanding and less understanding than it was just a few days ago. We don’t get to debate nor to try to see multiple sides here, Capricorn Mercury is all tunnel vision, eye on the prize, end justifies the means, and Pluto is a deep, dark, wrecking ball. This conjunction may bring about uncomfortable realizations, and force accountability for wrongs committed. This isn’t a time to seek revenge, though that may be a tempting feeling as old issues continue to play out and Pluto has a way of making us want to get nasty. That this conjunction will occur under a wise Sagittarius Moon can be helpful, but it also adds a touch of impulsivity, so fireworks may be sparked as Mercury is forced to reconcile deep truths thanks to Pluto. This is the last major aspect we will walk through under this Mercury Retrograde period before we hit Station Direct on February 3, and it’s important to remember that today is not intended to be a final resolution. Today brings the issue back into awareness, and it may find further resolution and be finally put to bed when Mercury makes its FINAL conjunction to Pluto, which will occur on Friday, February 11.
